The technological approach of VICTOR6G

Solution Approach

In order to make the Industrial Metaverse a reality, objectively determine its added value and to develop, optimize and couple the technologies required for it, the following solution approach is pursued in VICTOR6G: At the center of the Industrial Metaverse are the decision-making algorithms of the digital twins of the industrial application and the network, as well as their interaction with each other.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) supports this process by deriving adaptation and optimization decisions from input data that reflects the current state of the production process and the network.

Network Architecture & Spectrum

Specifically, VICTOR6G looks at how a centrally controlled, integrated wireless 6G and wired TSN network can react to instantaneous or expected future changes in the network or in production applications. There is also significant flexibility in how the system uses the available spectrum, enabling optimized operation across FR1 (low-band), FR2 (mm-wave), and FR3 (cm-wave) frequencies, supported by additional optimization strategies such as passive reflectors.
